All by the age of 21. While Billie is definitely not showing any signs of stopping, it all started with her 2019 hit song, Bad Guy.
How Billie Eilish really feels about Bad Guy
The year was 2019 when newbie pop icon Billie Eilish’ Bad Guy took over the music charts and social media. TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) were flooded with celebrities and fans taking up the ‘Bad Guy’ challenge. The song ended up on the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart proving that she had won over the audience just with one song.
But years after, Billie Eilish has now surprised fans by sharing how she really feels about the song. The 21-year-old My Future crooner said in a TV interview: “Well, objectively, Bad Guy is like the stupidest song in the world.”
But the creator of the viral hit song is also impressed by her breakthrough single that earned her millions.
She adds: “But it’s really good… it’s just like you have to understand. You have to have, like, humor in it. Like, that song is I’m trolling. That song is supposed to be goofy, but it’s just funny because it’s dumb.”
Billie’s struggle with fame
Billie’s honesty and edginess have appealed to a million of fans who look up to her. It comes after the singer recently opened up about her struggle with fame.
Speaking of her privacy and the normalcy that she had to let go, the singer confessed: “When I think too much about it, how I can never have privacy again, it’s enough to make you want to do all sorts of crazy things. But you have to let it go.”
Within a very few years, the pop star’s life has changed, and speaking of her character growth, Billie revealed: “I have a really big problem with control, so I’ve been trying to teach myself that there are things out of your control and you have to move on. I have settled many times with things and people and life. I’ve settled for less than I deserved, and I’m not going to do that anymore.”
